It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen E. Johnson of Hopedale, Illinois, who passed away on January 17, 2021, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethelbert F. Wilson and Sadie E. Tapp Wilson; her former husband Willard O. "Bud" Johnson; and her husband Lester Russell. She is survived by: her children, Lynne Fazzini (Rob) of Bloomington, IL and Steven Johnson (Belinda); and her sister Norma Rupp of Pekin, IL.. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the Nursing Scholarship Program at Hopedale Medical Complex.
