He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Rounds and Edna Rounds (Cox); his wife Shirley; and his siblings, Eugene, John, Lester, Phyllis Ritenour, Ethel Armstrong, Karen DeBeir and Ann Worlow.
He is survived by: his children, James Rounds of Galesburg, IL, David Rounds Sr. (Lori) of Kewanee, IL, Daniel W. Rounds of Hooppole, IL, Sandra Hull (Wendall) of Florida and Cynthia Spear (Brad) of Kirkland, IL; and his siblings, David Rounds (Jeanie) of Colona, IL, Larry Rounds of Moline, IL and Margaret McClarey. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
