Wilma Elizabeth Johnson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Elizabeth Johnson of Hoopeston, Illinois, born in Bagley, Iowa, who passed away on August 1, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Monroe and Greta Marie Hamilton (Zeller); her husband Robert Asa Johnson; her son Stephen Craig Johnson (Rebecca); and her brothers, James, Richard and Craig Hamilton.
She is survived by: her children, Philip Johnson (Linda) of St. Joseph, IL, Patrice Huston (Wayne) of Hamilton, OH, Randy Johnson (Kris) of Lake Havasu, AZ and Janice Ray (David) of Rossville, IL; and her grandchildren, Jessica Johnson (Felix Velazquez), Mary Johnson (Axel Swanson), Robert Johnson, Somer Lyons (Dan), Mason Huston (Sushma), Brandon Huston (Julie), Dan Gordon (Elizabeth), Dylan Gordon, Jayla Johnson, Allie Johnson and Asa Ray. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made in memory of Wilma to the Rossville United Methodist Church, 116 Maple St., Rossville, IL 60963.
