He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Bird and Lottie Bird (Lloyd); his children, Karen and Gary; his brother Francis Bird; and his grandson Jeremy Bird.
He is survived by: his wife Annabelle Lingley; his children, Cathy Hagan (David) of Gibson City, IL, Connie Mortonson (John) of Green Bay, WI and Jerry Bird of Fairmount, IL; his grandchildren, Greg Bird, Joel Bird, Michael Mortonson, Andrew Mortonson, Justin Hagan and Jennifer Hagan; and his great grandchildren, Elise and Ian Mortonson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
