He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Swan and Theda Swan (Allen); his wife Beverly Swan; his brothers, James Swan and Donald Swan; his sisters-in-law, Lois Simon and Mary Swan; and his great grandchild Kennedy Osmond.
He is survived by: his former wife Marguerite "Marg" Shoufler; his daughters, Starane Crandell (Dan) of Charlevoix, Gailee Wilkins (Casey) of Mt. Pleasant and Kimi Munger (Denny) of West Branch; his stepchildren, Marsha Woodard (Richard) of Danville, IL and Herb Shoufler (Shari) of Mason, OH; his grandchildren, Kathy Abuya (Godfrey), Sherry Kujawa (Steve), Jennifer Cline (Charlie), Katelyn Carey (Sean), Justin Munger, Kara Osmond (Keith) and Carly Munger; his stepgrandchildren, Sara Woodard, Ashley Knecht (David), Tiffany Dimmick and Samantha Shoufler; and his brother-in-law Martin Simon of Canton. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
