She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Madison and Sallie Madison (Boils); her spouse Haskel Lee Absher; her stepson Norman Absher; her siblings, Reba "Peggy" McNeil, Ruby Daniel, Clara Long, Genevieve Taylor and Eugene Madison; and her siblings-in-law, Agnes Madison, Vance Brown, Mac McNeil, Boots Daniel, Wayne Frederick, Elmer Long and Eugene Absher.
She is survived by: her daughter Julie Michele Carl (Al) of Hoopeston, IL; her sister Shirley Brown; her grandchildren, Kayla Bodensteiner (Mike) and Kasey Carl (Liz Coon); and her great grandchildren, Carson Garrison, Carlee Garrison, Reeve Pilotte and Keene Carl. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (427 E Main St, Hoopeston, IL 60942). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
