She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy E. Long and Gladys Long (Tucker); her husband Ralph M. Samet; her brothers, Jim, Harold, Tom and Mike Long; her siblings-in-law, Diane, Donna Long and Bill Matthews; and her great grandchild Theodore Huls.
She is survived by: her sons, Greg Samet (Tina) of Hoopeston, IL, Kenny Samet (Betty) of Hoopeston, IL and Dan Samet (Dawn) of East Lynn, IL; her sister Shirley Matthews; her sisters-in-law, Judy Long and Yasuko Long; her grandchildren, Jacy Rush (Trevor), Erika Weber (Jeremy), William Samet (Michelle), Andrew Samet (Allison Voyles), Theresa Huls (Lane) and Elizabeth Samet (Luis Lugo); and her great grandchildren, Oliver, Emerson Huls, Murphy Rush and Charlie Weber. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
