He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Cherry and Ollie Cherry; his grandson Dustin Marshall; and his great grandchild Tyler Minton. He is survived by: his spouse Martha Ann Clark; his daughters, Beverly Minton (Sam) of Wilkesboro, NC, Nancy Marshall of Scottsdale, AR, Rose Holycross (Kenny) of West Lebanon, IN and Julie Newman (Mark) of Rankin, IL; and his sister Willodeen Dixon of Bowling Green, KY. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
