He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Gossett and Blanche May Gossett (Holt); his wife Joyce A. Pentecost; and his brothers, Gerald, Harold (Ruth) and Donald Gossett (Doris).
He is survived by: his children, Connie Gossett Mills (Bob Bruens) of Hoopeston, IL and Randall L. Gossett (Sherry) of Hardyville, KY; his sister Betty J. Hamm (Laverne) of Danville, IL; his sister-in-law Joann Gossett of Charleston, IL; his grandchildren, Jennifer Mills, Erin Mills, Anthony Mills, Josh Gossett, Matthew Gossett and Katie Gossett; and his great grandchildren, Laynee, Raeghan Dickison and Dawson Burton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Hoopeston Area Softball Association.
