He is survived by: his wife Sandra Jo Long; his sons, Greg Samet (Tina) of Hoopeston, IL, Kenny Samet (Betty) of Hoopeston, IL and Dan Samet (Dawn) of East Lynn, IL; his siblings, Karen Laubscher (John) of Cissna Park, IL, Peggy Busey of Paxton, IL and Richard Samet (Sue) of Hoopeston, IL; his brother-in-law Jim Arnholt of Mattoon, IL; his grandchildren, Jacy Rush (Trevor), Erika Weber (Jeremy), William Samet (Michelle), Andrew Samet (Allison Voyles), Theresa Huls (Lane) and Elizabeth Samet (Luis Lugo); and his great grandchildren, Oliver, Emerson Huls, Murphy Rush and Charlie Weber. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
