She was predeceased by: her parent Claude Kirkham; and her grandson Jacob Wayne Kentner. She is survived by: her parent Ida Kirkham (Shy); her spouse Leon Newman; her daughter Shirley Jean Kentner (Charlie) of Rossville; her granddaughter Becky Jean Drennan (Shawn) of Rossville; and her great grandchildren, Morgan Jean and Tristen Drennan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
