It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Otilia Maria Montez of Hoopeston, Illinois, born in McAllen, Texas, who passed away on November 20, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Agustin Obregon and Consuelo Obregon Sr. (Morales); her husband Antonio Montez Sr.; and her siblings, Carmen Obregon, Oralia Obregon, Olivia Moreno, Florentino Obregon, Agustino Obregon and Francisco Obregon.
She is survived by: her children, Norma Cade (Ryan) of Hoopeston, IL, Angelica Montez Watson (Gary Watson) of Hoopeston, IL, Antonio Montez Jr. of Hoopeston, IL, Armando Montez of Hoopeston, IL, Jesus Montez of Hoopeston, IL and Reynaldo Montez (Lori) of Hoopeston, IL; her sister Rosenda Basaldua of McAllen, TX; her grandchildren, Olivia Montez (Junior Hartman), Madison Watson (Austin Johnston), Nick Montez (Ashley Pickett), Danielle Watson (Joey Miranda), Jose Montez (Britteny), Benjamin Montez, Xavier Rivera, Mila Watson Montez, Kamerin Cade and Raven Rutherford; and her great grandchildren, Gavin, Trenton, Reydon, Dominick, Isaac, Violet, Kenyon, Elijah, Avery, Camden, Isabella, Zayla, Elliana and Malakai. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
