It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Orville Haxton of Hoopeston, Illinois, born in Milford, Illinois, who passed away on March 25, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Haxton and Lilian Buhrmester (Vernon); his wife Donna Gay Mitchell; and his siblings, Peggy Brammer and Harvey Haxton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tracy Whitis (Bob) of Surprise, AZ and Rebecca McKenzie of California; his stepdaughter Betsy Smith (Dan) of Tuscola, IL; his son Eric Haxton of Surprise, AZ; his stepson Scott James (Sharon) of Catlin, IL; and his siblings, Judy Frederick (Wayne) of Hoopeston, IL, Glenda Evans of Lexington, KY and Jim Buhrmester (Linda) of Milford, IL. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
