She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Clark and Hester Mae Clark (Waltz); and her husband Roy Cherry. She is survived by: her daughters, Beverly Minton (Sam) of Wilkesboro, NC, Nancy Marshall of Scottsdale, AZ, Rose Holycross (Kenny) of West Lebanon, IN and Julie Newman (Mark) of Rankin, IL; and her sister Betty Greene of Sneedville, TN. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
