It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Marquetta Miller of Hoopeston, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 89, on April 17, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Cleveland Partin and Sally Ann Partin (King); her husband Darrel Justus Brooks Miller; and her son Dale Brooks. She is survived by: her daughter Sally Brooks Young (Patrick) of Hoopeston, IL; her sister Velma Lucille Smith of Hoopeston, IL; her grandchildren, Samantha Grubb, Tabetha Marie Grubb, Elizabeth Young Valenzuela and Brandon Young; and her great grandchildren, Eli, Colt, Graydon, Salvador, Arthur and Gabby. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Park (3901 N Vermilion St, Danville, IL 61832).
Memorial donations may be made in memory of Marquetta to the Hoopeston Animal Rescue Team (H.A.R.T.), 901 W. Main St., Hoopeston, IL 60942.
