It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marian June Cawthorn of Hoopeston, Illinois, who passed away on December 6, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil "Dick" and Alice Smith (Irwin); her husband Stanley B. Cawthorn; and her brother Frank Smith. She is survived by: her daughter Sandy Thornton (Jim) of Lockport, IL; her granddaughters, Lori Thornton (P. J. Wintermute) of Oswego, IL and Jill Rusek (Matt) of St. Anne, IL; her great grandchild Annabelle Rusek; her niece Sue Powell (Jerry); and her friends, Paul, Melanie Cancialosi (Bergstrand) and Dave Holloway. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Hoopeston Animal Rescue Team 901 W. Main St. Hoopeston, IL 60942.
