It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Max McIntosh of Hoopeston, Illinois, who passed away on June 13, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Estel D. McIntosh and Mary A. McIntosh (Garriott); his wife Evelyn Ann Whistler; his brothers, William R. McIntosh and Richard L McIntosh; his granddaughter Valerie McIntosh; his sons-in-law, Mark Pickering and Brad Boes; and his brother-in-law Ron Crane.
He is survived by: his children, Steve McIntosh (Brenda) of Williamsport, Sandy Pickering of Rushville, IN and Marjorie "Mert" McIntosh Boes of Princeton, IL.; his grandchildren, Clay McIntosh (Kasey) of Williamsport, Katie Gardner (Ryan) of Rushville, IN, Rachel Amos (Greg) of Rushville, IN, Ross Pickering (Kaylee) of Rushville, IN, Max and Emily Boes of Princeton, IL.; his great grandchildren, Harper, Cora Amos, Evy McIntosh and J. Harvey McIntosh; his sister Norma Crane of Williamsport; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Whistler of Platsmouth, NB and Lewis Whistler of Pine Village, IN..
