It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gael Edward Neathery of Hoopeston, Illinois, born in Albany, Kentucky, who passed away on October 19, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Neathery and Pernie Neathery (Thomas); his wife Donna Lyons; his daughter Melia Alt; and his siblings, Pat Meyers (George) and Jack Neathery.
He is survived by: his children, Jane Jenner of Vista, CA, Susan Kachele (William) of San Marcos, CA and Gael E. "Eddie" Neathery II (Jaime) of Hoopeston, IL; his brother Lynn Neathery (Linda); his sister-in-law Ruth Neathery of Hoopeston, IL; and his grandchildren, Kyle Alt, Alisa Dutro, Elliott, Dakota Jenner, Kainon Kachele, Alston, Reilly and Traes Neathery. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
