He is survived by: his children, Kristine K. Urich of Urbana, IL, Kimberly K. Smith of Watseka, IL, Richard A. Smith (Peggy) of East Lynn, IL and Joseph A. Smith (Maria) of Hoopeston, IL; and his brother Jerry Smith (Regina) of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
