She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Gasser and Ellen Gasser Smith (O'Connor); her husband Edward James McLaughlin; her stepfather Stephen Smith; her son James Daniel McLaughlin; her brothers, Ervin and Clarence "Red" Gasser; her sisters-in-law, Irene Spellman (Tim) and Rita Browning (James); her granddaughters, Amber L. West and Megan Purkhiser; and her nieces and nephews, Kimberly McLaughlin, Christine Spellman Lewis, Harold and Danny Morales.
She is survived by: her children, Linda West (Danny) of Hoopeston, IL, Debra Morgan (Dennis) of Hoopeston, IL, Kathleen Purkhiser (Richard) of Crown Point, IN, Karen Hansen (Wayne) of Grant Park, IL, Edward McLaughlin (Catherine) of Lowell, IN and Michael McLaughlin (Theresa) of Grant Park, IL; her brother-in-law Eugene McLaughlin (Ana) of Chicago, IL; her grandchildren, Shane West (Stacy), Paul McLaughlin (Lisa), Joseph McLaughlin, Lynn Frampton (Ralph), Robert Morgan (Jessica), Jennifer Morgan, Ryan Purkhiser, Jamie Moore-Hawkins, Danny Moore, Mary Eckhoff (Dan), Rachel Smith (Dallas), Michael McLaughlin, David Edwards, Wayne Jr. Hansen (Mia), Brett Hansen and Jeremy Hansen; her great grandchildren, Jackson, Sophia, Hunter, Gavin West, Aaliyah McLaughlin, Taylor, Hailey, Kaytlin, Blake, Gracie Frampton, Juvia Morgan, Jase, Teagen, McKenna Hawkins, Chloe, Bella Moore, Jaxon, Annabelle, Jamison, Stella Eckhoff, Greyson Smith, Trinity, Wayne III, Nova Rose Hansen and Demitra Purkhiser; and her nieces and nephews, Kathie Morales, Timothy Spellman, Bridget and Patrick McLaughlin.
