She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Hatfield and Minnie Ray Hatfield (Rusk); her husband John Henry "Jack" Eighner; her son Steven Eighner; and her siblings, Arlene, Harlan, Bob, Ronald, Jimmy and Earl.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Jean Beckwith (John) of St. Joseph, IL and Stanley Eugene Eighner (Marg) of New Lenox, IL; her sister Margaret Sims of Hoopeston, IL; her grandchildren, Heather Obiala (Phil), Lindsay Merlo (Anthony) and Steve Eighner (Ashley); and her great grandchildren, Phillip, Parker, Piper Obiala, Anthony, James Merlo, Maggie and Jack Eighner. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
