He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Pickett and Dillie Pickett (Savage); and his siblings, Revela, Earl, Rondal, Billy, Ray, Otis and Danny.
He is survived by: his children, Amber Obenland (Ty) of Carmel, IL and Darren Pickett of Hoopeston, IL; his brother Charles Pickett of Edmonton, KY; his sisters-in-law, Betty Pickett and Helen Pickett; and his grandson Tyler Reed Obenland. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Darrell's honor to the Wounded Warrior Project or any veteran's assistance program.
