It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Chauncey Earl Carter of Hoopeston, Illinois, who passed away on March 9, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Carter and Abigail Carter (Colvin); his wife Patty Zurlinden; and his siblings, Lenora Carter, Helen Jackson, Mary Furow, Harold Carter, Leon Carter and Butch Carter (Betty).

He is survived by: his sons, Timothy Carter (Cheri) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Thomas Carter (Ginger) of Fort Walton Beach, FL and Tracy Carter (Rhonda) of Hoopeston, IL; his brother Wilbur Carter (June) of Hoopeston, IL; his grandchildren, Jessica Bronson (Nick), Joshua Carter (Stacey), Heather Krause (Brian), Nathanial Carter, Adam Carter, Dane Carter (Melissa) and Victoria Robinson (Corie); and his great grandchildren, Landon Carter, Carter Bronson, Lynnae Bronson, Mikayla Carter, Nolan Carter, Liam Krause, Bradley Robinson, Benjamin Krause, Mason Carter, Deklyn Carter, Chandler Robinson and Genevieve Carter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Paul Stuck wrote a sympathy message

“My brother Charles (Sonny) Stuck and I are truly grieved at the loss of our uncle. We are the two sons of Lenora Bell (Carter) Stuck who was uncle Chaunceys oldest sister. In my case it adds additional heart break because uncle Chauncey and I shared the same birthday; August 8th..........Paul Stuck”
