He was predeceased by: his parents, Corbit Fox and Ethel Fox (Snyder); and his brothers, Cecil, Mervin, Elmer and Larry Fox.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Cannon; his children, Carmen D. Whorrall (Larry R.) of Danville, IL, Carl E. Fox Jr. (Stacey) of Danville, IL and Jesse J. Fox (Kimberly) of Danville, IL; his siblings, Debbie Key (Bobby) of Ridge Farm, IL and David Fox (Luetta) of Arkansas; his sister-in-law Norma Fox of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Nathan Fox, Chelsey Simmons (Jake), Chase Whorrall (Emily), CasaDee Reifsteck (Blake), Brandon Fox and Brittney Fox; and his great grandchildren, Alaina Hamilton, Beau Simmons, Jameson Whorrall and Sophia Rose Whorrall. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
