With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Ruth Huffman of Hoopeston, Illinois, who passed away on June 22, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd A. Starr and Grace Starr (Morgan); her husband Leo; her daughter Rebecca Timmons; and her siblings, Florence Pauline, Floyd Jr., Paul and Dale Starr.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin (Allan Duncan) of Maplewood, NJ, Amy Hirschland (Rich) of Alpharetta, GA and Julie Harper (Doug) of Washington, IL; her grandchildren, Jen Frederick (Doug), Chris Timmons (Carrie), Madeline, Isabel Duncan-Huffman, Jeremy, Benjamin, Matthew, Jonathan Hirschland, Megan Vanderheydt (Bryson), Joseph and Jacob Harper; and her great grandchildren, Grace, Evan Frederick, Peyton, Paige, Piper Timmons, Carter, Brodie and Cade Vanderheydt.
Her family would appreciate memorials be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 915 E. Orange St. Hoopeston, IL 60942.
