She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Gholson and Helen Gholson (Thornbury); her brothers, Vernon Gholson II, William Gholson, Carl Gholson, Bernard Gholson and Robert Gholson; and her brothers-in-law, Earl Knapp and Larry Butts.
She is survived by: her spouse Dale Eckersley; her children, Patricia Berthiaume (Paul) of Saugus, MA and Don Eckersley of Wellington, IL; her stepdaughters, Sandy McCord of Hoopeston, IL and Betty Homa of Hoopeston, IL; her sisters, Mary Knapp of Cissna Park, IL, Shirley Sondgerath (Butch) of Ambia, IN, Alice Butts of Danville, IL and Pat Sondgerath (Ron) of Indianapolis, IN; her grandchildren, Chris Flohr (Vanessa), Desirae Arca (Ahmy), Sarah Soleau, Rachel Burns (Mark), Allison Berthiaume and Jessica DeRossett (Travis); and her stepgrandchildren, Jason McCord (Melia) and Eric McCord. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
