She was predeceased by: her parents, Hiram "Woody" Byrd and Ella Byrd (Huddleston); her husband John Edward Hensley; and her children, Sherri Lewman and John Hensley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Heiman (Neil) of Weed, CA and Julie Hensley of Hoopeston, IL; her sister Barb Rutledge; her grandchildren, Matthew Lewman of Hoopeston, IL, Paige of Hoopeston, IL, Lance of Hoopeston, IL and Chase Hensley of Hoopeston, IL; her great grandchildren, Kah'mariontae Cooper, Audra and Ariah Hensley; and her nephew Mike Hurst. She is also survived by her kids, and an even better grandmother.
