Roger Bovenkerk Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 7, 2021, at the age of 86, Roger Bovenkerk of Homewood, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister Marilyn Swanson (late Kenneth); his niece Pamela Jacobson; his brother-in-law Donald Myers (late Alice); and his cousin Alan Bovenkerk. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Bovenkerk; his children, Lornel Priebe (Chuck), Sue Slager (Gregg) and Jenny Piotrowski (John); his grandchildren, Stephanie Priebe, Amanda Howe (George), John Priebe, Kyle Slager, Justin Slager, Emma Piotrowski, Matthew Piotrowski and Nicholas Piotrowski; his great grandchild Maeve; and his nieces and nephews, Kendal Swanson, John Swanson (Janice), Donald Myers (Jean), John Myers (Lori) and Nancy Wilkinson (Brad).

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Homewood Rotary Foundation, The Glenwood Academy or Camp Manitoqua Center in Frankfort.
