He was predeceased by: his siblings, Michael Schassburger (Virginia), Eleanor Lilja (late Marion) and Irene Poulos (late John). He is survived by: his spouse Laura Schassburger; his children, Robert S. Schassburger, Jr. (Tonya) and Erik J. Schassburger (Tere); his grandchildren, Julia, Jared, Justin, Alec, Aaron, Ethan and Tara; his sibling Ronald Schassburger (Florence); and also Altamirano. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
