He was predeceased by: his brother Steve Schmitz (Crystal). He is survived by: his wife Lauren Bruntjens; his son Ethan; his parents, Linda Bruntjens and Randy Bruntjens; his siblings, Chad Bruntjens (Stephanie), Corinne Schmitz and Jeffrey Bruntjens (Becky); and also Jeffrey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Tews-Ryan Funeral Home (18230 Dixie Hwy, Homewood, IL 60430). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the same location.
