Nick Zagotta Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nick Zagotta of Homewood, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Rose (Di Santo); his children, Marybeth Beno (Mike), Maryelen Zagotta (Brian Quirke) and Nick Zagotta (Kathy); his grandchildren, Nicholas Quirke (Jennifer), Justin Quirke (Gretchen), Emily Quirke (Joseph Boyko), Ashley Nicholas (Claire Sorenson), Nicko Zagotta (Jamie), Peter Zagotta (Patrice), Mary Kate Zagotta (Gina Goldman), Michael Beno (Kara Cook), Joanie Rosen (Craig) and Anthony Beno (Samantha); and his siblings, William Zagotta, Grace Pecora and Tony Di Santo (Laurie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Veronica's Parish (1131 Douglas Ave, Flossmoor, IL 60422). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, August 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Nick's name would be appreciated by the Zagotta family to the Homewood Paramedics at 17950 Dixie Highway, Homewood, IL, 60430, who promptly responded to many calls, always treating Nick with dignity and kindness.
