She was predeceased by: her parents, Reinhard Benner and Grete Wilhelmine Benner; her husband Josef Niechciol; and her siblings, Gretchen, Annaliese and Freddy.
She is survived by: her children, Martina Niechciol-Hooks (late Howard), Astrid Norman (Richard) and Barbara Niechciol (David Parrish); and her grandchildren, Joseph Mosely, Maggi Soluna, Elizabeth Wehrheim (Ken), Patrick Asa, Rae Hooks and Harrison Benner.
Memorial donations in Lydia's memory may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois, Inc.
Our thanks to all the wonderful people at Manor Court Nursing Home that took great care of Lydia throughout her long stay there.
