He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Spain and Leo Spain; and his sibling Noel Spain. He is survived by: his wife Carrie Spain; his children, Daniel Spain (Monica) and Colleen Spain; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Nelson (Bruce), Karen Boedeker (late Jim) and Kathy Berkley (Mark).
