He was predeceased by: his parents, Miguel Angel Perez and Maria Guzman of Perez. He is survived by: his wife Gladys "Chiquy"; his son Juan Jr. "Jay"; his daughter-in-law Cassandra; his grandson Alexander; and his siblings, Isa, Miguel, Heriberto and Judith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
