He was predeceased by: his parents, Karen Nielsen and Nicholas Nielsen; his sibling Sigfried Nielsen (Jean); and his close friend Vicki Torsan. He is survived by: his daughters, Kristine LoBue (late Nick), Ellen Nielsen-Chaney (Fred) and Sandra DeSalvo; his grandchildren, Ryan LoBue (Sammi), Almedia "Ali" Cording (John), Ty, Torii, Denim Chaney, Brianna and Colin Archer; his great grandchildren, Finley, Sutton and Kaia LoBue; his siblings, Butch Nielsen (Rosemarie) and Ellen Nielsen; and also, Richie and Joey.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home (530 W 14th St, Chicago Heights, IL 60411). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 24th 2024 at 5:00 PM.
