Dan R. Carmichael Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 2, 2018, at the age of 85, Dan R. Carmichael (Homewood, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Erwin Carmichael and Dan Robert Carmichael Sr.; and his wife Mary. He is survived by: his former wife Loraine Fortson; his daughters, Lynne Whitmore (Kra) of Lakeland, FL, Lisa Myers (Eugene) of Seminole, FL, Sarah Carmichael (Jon) of Pepperell, MA, Betty Carmichael (Paul) of Stevens Point, WI and Gail Kimen (Tom) of Green Lake, WI; and also Wren King. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wilderness Society in Dan's memory.
