He was predeceased by: his wife Sena Mitch; his daughter Cheryl Hensley (James); his grandson Matthew McNicholas; his parents, Linda Mitch and Santer Mitch; and his siblings, Alex Mitch (Maryann), James Mitch and Helen Alexich (Jack).
He is survived by: his daughters, Tamara "Tami" McNicholas and Karlyn Strack (late Matt). He is also survived by his seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be given to Salem Lutheran Church in honor of Carl.
