He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sam Boersma and Jacoba Boersma; his siblings, Martha, Donald, Gilbert, Katherine, Sam, David and Robert; and his children, Elizabeth, Brian (Janne), Brenda (Matthew Maland) and Bradley (Christi). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews and grandfather.
