He is survived by: his daughter Shannon Rose; his wife Christine Van Etten-Cotter; his siblings, Mark Cotter (Elizabeth), Monica Stopka (John) and Christine Weiss; his mother-in-law Carol Van Etten; his siblings-in-law, Cathy Hofsteadter, Norb and Flo Ziemer; and his nieces and nephews, Mark, Danny, Charlene, Katie, Gerald, Aidan and Elena.
