It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne Briggs of Homewood, Illinois, born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on August 8, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandparents, Frank and Ida Coppenbarger; her husband Thomas E. Briggs; her children, Debora Bodine (Darryl), Susan Houghton (Robert) and William Briggs; her grandchildren, Micah Bodine (Nichole), Bethany Schultz (Stephen), Rebecca Detweiler (Jeremy), Joel Bodine (Allison), Melissa Jenkins (Stephen), Julie Houghton and Elizabeth Houghton; and her siblings, Jean Gualano, Jon Coppenbarger and Doug Coppenbarger (Tamara). She was also cherished by seven great-grandchildren.
Due to the pandemic, a private funeral service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Village Church would be appreciated.
