Edward Burns Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Burns of Hometown, Illinois, who passed away on August 27, 2021 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Burns and Honora Burns; his wife Virginia Burns; his son Timothy (Susan); and his siblings, Thomas Burns, Mary Brigetta, Ann McAllister (Jack), Lenore Savage (William), Catherine Kokoska (Raymond) and Patricia.

He is survived by: his children, Edward Jr. (Theresa), Michael (Adrienne), Thomas (Jeanne), Patricia (Mark) and Christopher (Julie).

Due to COVID-19, no outside food or drinks allowed and masks are to be required.

In Lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in Edward's name to the Servants of Mary a foundation that was dear to him.
