He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward Green and Ella Nora Nixon; his aunt Gussie; and his siblings, Lucille Kelly (late Walter), Rhoda "Sis" Anderson (late Ralph), Betty Kelm (late Donald), Dorothy Heisler (late Robert), Charles "Sonny" Green (late Dorothy), Ralph "Shorty" Green (late Dorothy), William "Bill" Green (late Rita), Arthur "Art" Green (late Joyce) and Robert Green.
He is survived by: his close friend Maureen Keating; his children, Laura Green Van (Paul) and Earl Green (Patricia); his grandchildren, Sarah, Mark (Kim), Aaron Green Van Zee, Danny, Sophia and Cecilia Heller; his great grandchildren, Brianna, Peyton, Nicholas Green Van Zee and Gianna Spain; his siblings, Roberta Jean Morris and Franklin Green; and also, John Heller and Daniel Heller (Natalie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
After a brief and courageous fight against brain cancer and the coronavirus, he entered into eternal rest on February 6, 2021.
