It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Dawson of Homer, Illinois, born in Mattoon, Illinois, who passed away on March 8, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Elvin and Frances Louise Dillman (Titus); her husband Eugene Allen Dawson; her siblings, Pamela Monroe and Tony Dillman; her daughter Bernice I. Burton; and her granddaughter Ashley D. Stanley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Crystal L. Dawson (Mary K. Anderson), Joann M. Dawkins (John) and Juanita M. Stanley (Doug Pruitt); her grandchildren, Michael, Thomas, Cassye, James, Susanne Aaron, Brandi, Stephanie, Nathan and A. J.; and her siblings, Carson N. Dillman and Garrie L. Dawson.
