Sharon L. McCastland Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon L. McCastland of Homer Glen, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 12, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John "Mac" McCastland; her siblings, Mark Blume (Cindy) and Joan Klein (late Don); and her parents, Melvin Blume and Dorothy Blume.
She is survived by: her children, Michael (Dori), Jeffery, Timothy (Kerri), Stacey (Teri), Jaclyn Curran (Patrick) and Nicole Lynch (William III); and her siblings, Lynn Sennet (late Edward), Douglas Blume (Sue) and Deborah Sanderson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (6850 W 159th St, Tinley Park, IL 60477).
