He was predeceased by: his spouse Sharon; his parent Joseph Marcinkus; and his sibling Debra Van Wyk. He is survived by: his child Daniel W. Marcinkus (Dorothy); his parent Lorraine Marcinkus; and his siblings, Pamela Van Wyk and Russell Marcinkus. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
