He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his stepchild Thomas Keating (Janet); his grandchildren, Caitlin Gibbons (Vince), Erin O'Donnell (Brendan), Kevin Keating (Melissa), Patrick, Ashley Keating, Christian and Ryan Swieton; his great grandchildren, Gabriella, Anthony and Sloane; his sister Theresa O'Connor (late James); and his brother-in-law Robert Mullee.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM at the Richard J Modell Funeral Home & Cremation Services (12641 W 143rd St, Homer Glen, IL 60491). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 9:45 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Our Mother of Good Counsel Church (12641 W 143rd St, Homer Glen, IL 60491). A burial was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the Good Shepherd Cemetery (16201 104th Ave, Orland Park, IL 60467).
