He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Gensler and Josephine Gensler; his sister Carol; his brothers-in-law, Ted Bain and Robert Clary; and his nephews, Nathan McIntyre and Thad Wessel.
He is survived by: his aunt Janet; and his siblings, Notre Dame and Bachelor of Science. He is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews, 38 great nieces and nephews and 5 great-great nieces and nephews.
