She was predeceased by: her parent Myrtle Germann; and her siblings, Jack and Viola Petersen. She is survived by: her children, Alan J. (Bobbi Jo) and Andrew (Amanda); her grandchildren, Alex, Anthony, Andrew, Abigail and Joseph; her parent Krieman Germann; her siblings, Roger, Ronald, Joseph, Beverly Bailey, Joanne Germann and Connie Schmaedeke; and also, Joseph Germann and Andy.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Marlene's favorite charity, The Mark Staehely Pediatric Cancer Foundation, which puts on an annual baseball event that Marlene's son, Andy helps organize and has proudly displayed his "Dad's" name on the back of his jersey.
