She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Dennis F. Slowik; her children, Stephen (Ellie), D. O., Denise Slowik (Paul), Loretta and Mary Basa (Matt); her grandchildren, Matthew, Liam, Reid, Colin, Owen and Esperanza; her cousin Mary Beth Joyce; and her brothers, Jim Joyce (Melody) and Kevin Joyce (Sharon).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Richard J Modell Funeral Home & Cremation Services (12641 W 143rd St, Homer Glen, IL 60491). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (15050 Wolf Rd, Orland Park, IL 60467). A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Cemetery (16201 104th Ave, Orland Park, IL 60467).
