It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Gutierrez of Homer Glen, Illinois, who passed away on January 4, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Mallo and Lorraine Mallo (Schrieder). She is survived by: her husband Carlos Gutierrez; her children, Daniel Gutierrez and Melissa Kapheim (Robert); her grandsons, Quentin and Grant Kapheim; her sisters, Patricia Maruszak (Ronald) and Janet Funk (Jim); and her sisters-in-law, Gilda Mikols (Dave) and Oralia Caccavallo (Ronald). She is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
